Our family consists of : Andrew, Sheryl, Andrea, Erica, Esther, Emily, Jonathan and.... Blondie the dog and Jaggy the cat. We have been serving now for 14 years in Mexico with World Indigenous Missions.

Our Ministry called Opening Doors, is designed to achieve growth in the local church. Lay members are equipped in friendship/lifestyle evangelism that leads into the natural pathway of discipleship.

Our goal is to mentor the Pastor to attain a more focused vision with regards to this evangelistic method and through that - discipleship in the church.

We sincerely love our call to:

A. build bridges of love to both the lost and redeemed.

B. engage the local church in spiritual growth.

c. equip local leaders to move their congregations toward Christ's greater glory!!

This call is accomplished through:

1. training the local church in friendship/lifestyle even.

2. mentoring the Pastor to keep a Biblical base.

3. cooperating with the Pastor for successful evang. strategy.

We have joined with Spring Hills Baptist so:

1. our family can experience American Culture in a relevant way.

2. we can impart a worldwide vision into the church.

3. more laborers can be recruited.

4. financial support can be obtained.

1. Financing to print more evangelism materials.

2. Financing to upgrade and repair computers/printers.

3. Financing to meet regular monthly expenses.

4. Health in all areas of our lives.

5. More opportunities to train churches in evangelism and mission.

Current prayer needs include: [March 2005]

1. That our van may get repaired before the hot summer months are upon us.

2. Andrea, Erica and Esther will be attending a short-term Mission outreach to Michoacan, Mexico during Easter Week to preach the gospel in Indigenous Towns throughout

3. That Sheryl may finish her CD Project...write and record the songs she has been given over the years.

As of: October 2004

1. Pray for neighbors, that God will open doors for us to wisely share Christ effectively in His time.

2. Pray for Adela, Sheryl's friend who is now attending our small group outreach.

3. Pray for the Festival of the Family, which the alliance of Pastors in Cuernavaca is planning. That Gods will be accomplished and many come to Christ.

4. Pray for Sheryl as she leads the worship ministry at church. That she may work effectively with the singers and the team as a whole to glorify Him!!

5. Pray for Andrew as he leads the Opening Door Evangelism Ministry seminar in Merida, Venezuela. That provision of finances will be met and Gods message/challenge be given.

(December 2003)

1. Sheryl is beginning to make her debut CD music recording..... Pray: for the team as they go about this project that the Lord would lead every step, and that the finished work would bring glory to God and be a blessing to many. And..... God, should it please Him to show us where the remaining $2,000 shall come from we'd like to know.

2. PRAISE Erica and Esther, 13 yr twins, both have braces free of charge .....!!!!! thanks to a big God in the heart of Dr. Moreno.

3. Andrea, the 15 yr. old, is in Hawaii for the semester.

4. Praise that Jonathan, our 3 year old , walks like a mad man... lovers to dance and walk with Dad.

5. Jaggy the cat- pregnant and Blondie the dog- is not!!

6. 50,000 Bible Tracts and one ton of additional tracts were recently donated for use!!!! Praise God!!!

B. Praise for our new 15 passenger van!!!!

C. Due to gasoline being $2.75/gal. we now feel led convert our van to propane fuel. Thus, please pray for the finances necessary to do so.

D. There is a need for regular increased financing.

E. Pray for God's wisdom and blessing on all the ministry opportunities we've been given.

F. PRAISE Mexican Missionaries are being sent out to the world!! Two have recently gone to Senegal and Morocco. A third is due to go out to Eastern Europe

G. Gods pleasure to be found in the Opening Doors ministry within local churches!! 18 new churches have been planted since March, 2003!!!

H. Wisdom and Gods leading as we join with other Mexican Pastors to form a "Missionary Support Team" for those being sent out.... for financial, personal encouragement and communication strength.

Thanks again for loving Him enough to seek His will in our lives!!
