Heartbeats Mission Statement:
Heartbeats is a non-political, Christian association for life-affirming
education and pregnancy and infant parenting service. Its mission is to
create an environment where every human heart is cherished and protected
within the womb and in strong families. Heartbeats promotes a commitment to
sexual integrity, expressing the gift of sexuality throughout life in a
true, excellent, honest, and pure way as the lifestyle choice that offers
protection in childhood, direction in adolescence and celebration in
adulthood.
No court
decision or amendment can take away the importance God has placed on each
individual life. His love reaches to unborn lives the same as any other.
Partner with us to save the lives of unborn children as we reach out to
women and men who are facing an unexpected pregnancy and offer them a
helping hand and the hope of Jesus Christ.

Plans that are in the prayer stage for Heartbeats are
1. Partnering with more churches across Licking County to equip them to
proclaim truth concerning life issues.
2. To seek out more good locations for our Rescue Vehicle (mobile
ultrasound) to reach women in underserved parts of Licking County such as
Utica, Johnstown and Hanover. We also hope to outreach on college campuses
and to park at locations next to abortion mills in Columbus to offer women
true and accurate information.
3. Fertility Awareness Education – Increasing numbers of Christian women
are seeking help from us on fertility awareness. We would like to train our
nurses to offer “Mom and Daughter” classes in churches.
4. Determining the possibility and timeline of adding STD testing and
treatment in our center and on the mobile unit thereby expanding our
audience to sexually active individuals and offering them help and
information to achieve a lifestyle of sexual integrity.
5. Finding ways to reach women and men that have been involved in an
abortion and to connect them with our Truth & Life post-abortion healing
programs.
6. Pray for God to do a might work in turning the hearts of men back to
their children through our Barnabas Project Men’s Ministry.
7. Find ways to work with struggling centers to offer prayer, wisdom,
encouragement and assistance.
8. Transforming our local east-end community with other churches and
ministries by moving some of our programs such as men’s ministry, boutique,
post-abortion, and abstinence to the Look Up Community Center to better meet
the needs of the people and to share Jesus.
9. Partnering and assisting centers in other countries to reach the
abortion vulnerable women in their communities, even offering to go on a
short term mission project with staff and volunteers.
