Scott Hayes, Assistant Pastor, Look Up Ministries/Community Care & Outreach: E-mail

Scott resides in Newark with his wife, Bernice and two children Johni and Nicholas. Scott is a graduate from Newark High School and served in the United States Air Force.

He began his employment with Spring Hills in 1999 as the Building Superintendent and was  doing some volunteer ministry in 2001 when he felt led to serve God in a full time outreach ministry. In the spring of 2002 he was called by the members of Spring Hills Baptist Church to become  an Assistant Pastor.

He is currently Pastor of Community Care and Outreach Ministry. This ministry is working in conjunction with thirty six local agencies to assist with physical and spiritual needs of the community of Licking County. This ministry consists of teams of volunteers who are responsible for the pick up and distribution of food and household items to benefit the less fortunate people in our community.

Scott is also currently the jail chaplain at the Licking County Justice Center. This position operates through the Licking County Jail Ministries.
