WOMEN’S MINISTRIES

Women's Ministries At Spring Hills

WOMEN'S COUNCIL MINISTRY OBJECTIVE: As we give ourselves to our Lord Jesus Christ, we desire to follow Him more deeply day by day, to seek out and bring other women to Him, and to help women grow in their relationship with Him.

"Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God." Titus 2:3-5

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

SIS GROUPS:  "Sisters In Spirit" are groups of 4-8 women who meet regularly for Christian fellowship, Bible study, prayer and encouragement. For more information, please call Sid Fouty (587.2729) or Cynthia Bowling (344.8058).

LYDIA HOMES OF HOPE: A ministry outreach program designed to touch the lives of single moms and their children. This ministry provides opportunities for them to experience God's love through home-based Bible studies and creative children's programs that are held right in their own neighborhoods. We offer transportation for single mothers and their children in order to give them access to the various programs at SHBC, and we connect with Look Up Ministries to help provide furniture, clothing and other resources that are needed. Please contact Cathi Lucas (587.0678) for more information.

SPECIAL EVENTS: Designed to foster Christian growth and fellowship and to help us bring other women to Him. Includes women's retreats and seasonal gatherings.
